Sir I hv a Question. I think most Gayatri n Tantric Mantras require Diksha. Later I thought maybe Mantras dat hv multiple Beeja Mantras might also require Diksha. I thought Simple Root Mantras like "Aum Gan Ganpataye Namaha" were open for all. But some ppl r saying dat even simple Mantras with single Beeja Mantras require Diksha. Is it true ? I want to do Likhita Jaap of above mentioned Ganesha Mantra, "Aum Aim Saraswatyai Namaha" n "Aum Shreem Shriye Namaha" . But I feel discouraged by this Diksha concept. Can I do it without Diksha ? Sir, did u ever heard ppl simply doing likhita Jaap of these Mantras without Diksha n Succeeding? Sir Please Reply. I wud be grateful if u kindly do so.

Alana,this mantra and tantra things require a lot of discipline and continuously doing it like for a few years..so ask yourself first whether u have the discipline or not (me,I certainly lack discipline)
Secondly if we do things based on what we see on you tube videos or other sites and even if we do it continuously,still in our minds we would have plenty of unresolved questions and so especially when it comes to this mantra and tantra matters,better to do it as per a real gurus instructions
Coming to what mainly u asked neel sir,whether one needs diksha,as far as I know is not needed for the simple mantra that u had given in your comment but still please know that I am not an expert but rather someone who likes reading about all this tantras and mantas
Alana,easy way out,even uttering the simple names of god like saying Lakshmi namaha or ganeshaya namaha brings their grace immediately and we don't have to crack our head about rules
But let me tell u this Alana...3 years back I did a mantra calling an angel without any diksha or guidance from a living person and it was a mantra that Neel sir gave through prophet 666 site but being the lazy me and lack of discipline I did it for only like 5 or 6 days but amazingly Alana,it showed me that it works,like in my situation as I did not prolong doing it after that 5 or 6 days,when no one else was around,I heard a woman's voice chiding me for not continuing it and she left for good
I did it without diksha or a gurus blessing but yet it worked but due to my own lack of discipline I stopped it,anyway it's of no use of regretting over past mistakes
I hope Alana that my input here might help u out in some way
