Connect to the God-Within for Success in Mantra Sadhana
In this post, I have written about the basic requirement to make a prayer, or Mantra work for you in a fast and efficient manner and enable you to fulfill your wishes or get success in any key or crucial work or task.
Many of our readers often post comments saying that they chanted the Mantra or Prayer or prepared the Yantra as described in the post and did not get the desired results. Hence, I have given a simple reason why some people keep on failing to achieve success in a Mantra Sadhana.
Most people or experts will give you some or the other technical reason for your failure or partial success. Here, what I am going to tell you in this post is something you will not find in most books or on the internet because it is something most practitioners of Mantra Sadhana are not aware of.
There are layers of consciousness present in everyone, some will call them the Seven Chakras or Energy Centers of the Kundalini Shakti. The Kundalini Shakti or Seven Major and numerous minor Chakras have not been seen by any and even people who know nothing about them attribute Mantras, Prayers, Colors, Deities, and many other things to these Chakras.
These are basically seven layers of consciousness and every person has the potential to reach the final destination or the Seven or Crown Chakra, which merges the Soul or Inner-self with the Over-soul of God. But, what most people do not know is that the Over-Soul or God is present in every being, including humans in the deepest part of the consciousness.
Hence, in most posts, I keep on repeating that a Mantra will not give the desired results if it is not chanted with faith and concentration because, without these two ingredients, the practitioner will not be able to come in contact with the God-With or even come anywhere near him or her. It is this God Within who fulfills the wishes of everyone, including those related to making progress in spirituality and advancing to higher levels of consciousness.
One doesn't have to connect with God-Within because that is the most difficult part, however, even reaching higher levels of consciousness, like the Fourth Level of Consciousness, which the practitioners of Kundalini Yoga call the Fourth or Throat Chakra, is more than sufficient to make your dreams turn true.
Also remember not to get entangled in technical details because what you hear or read about the Kundalini Shakti and the Seven Layers of Consciousness are the thoughts of others, most of whom would not even have experienced the basic levels. Hence, if you try to imitate the experiences of others your mind will trick and deceive you into experiencing something like a placebo effect or hallucination. This is the basic reason why most Mantras should be chanted by becoming one with the Mantra and forgetting about technical details. Adi Shankara prescribed Manas Puja or Mental Worship many centuries back for people who found it impossible to chant a Mantra or Prayer without rituals.
