Dakshinavarti Shankh Daily Puja Mantras
In many earlier posts, I have described some special Mantra Prayogas using the Dakshinavarti Shankh, which is believed to be a most powerful and effective Tantrik item. In this post, I have compiled a list of five Mantras, which are considered to be most beneficial when chanted in the course of any kind of Puja or Tantrik Sadhana performed using the Dakshinavarti Shankh. These Mantras can also be chanted during the daily Puja of the Dakshinavarti Shankh.
Anyone of the five Dakshinavarti Shankh Puja Mantras given below can be chanted while performing any kind of Puja using the Dakshinavarti Shankh. However, the Sadhaka should use the same Puja Mantra from the beginning to the conclusion of the Puja.
The Dakshinavarti Shankh should not be broken or chipped from any side.
There should be no black colored holes on any part of the Dakshinavarti Shankh.
There should be no artificial colored spots on the Shankh.
The mouth or opening of the Shankh should be in a good condition.
The Dakshinavarti Shankh comes in various types. A dark colored Shankh is most suitable for short tempered and Tamsik Guni persons. However, the dark colored Shankh should be avoided by pure minded or Satvik Guni people.
An undamaged white colored Dakshinavarti Shankh, which blows clearly and loudly [Shankhnaad] is considered to be the best variety.
Some Hindu religious texts have categorized the Dakshinavarti Shankh into Brahmin [Priest], Kshatriya [Warrior], Vaishya [Businessperson] and Shudra [Laborer] Varnas. Based upon this theory the White Colored Shankh is for Brahmins, Red Colored one for Kshatriyas, Yellow Colored Shankh for Vaishya and Black Colored Shankh for Shudras. However, if anyone wishes to follow these recommendations, they should not take their caste but temperament into consideration this site does not believe in caste or religiou barriers.

Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteAs mentioned in your some other posts of worshiping Dakshinavarti Shankh on morning of Diwali and keep at office. I have done so in this can i use the above mantras? As it is wrapped and kept in red colored cloth and as per your previous post it is likely to be removed on next Diwali only.
As you have performed the earlier remedy for the Dakshinavarti Shankh, there is no need for you to chant any of these Mantras for the Shankh, which you have already used in the previous remedy.
DeleteSir i fail to understand how dakshinavart shank can be Brown clearly as mentioned by you in ur post. As it is completely closed not like normal shank. So how it can be blown Please reply.
