Today the 7th day of Navaratri, is the day of the Kaalratri, this is the day, which is said to be the day when, darkness is destroyed and true light prevails. This is the day when the Mother Goddess annihilates evil, symbolized by the example of the destruction of the most powerful Asura Raktabeej, in spite of the Boon bestowed on him be none other than the Creator Brahma.
The day of the Kaalratri is most auspicious for the destruction of enemies, evil and malefic mystical entities, unclean spirits and ghosts. On this day, Durga Mata manifests in as the Kaalratri, having an appearance so fearsome, that even the most powerful and advanced of the evil forces are paralyzed with dread and fear,
