How to Position Wind Chimes in Feng Shui
Wind Chimes are a popular Chinese Feng Shui Charm to increase confidence and open the up the mind of a restricted individual and hence widen his field of operations; social and business. They are also an indicator of the opening up of blocked fortune and removing hardships. In this post I will explain how to position the Wind Chimes and in which direction, as the positioning and direction is most important to take full advantage of this Charm. They are also prescribed in the Indian science of Vastu Shastra.
The most auspicious Wind Chime is the one which has 6 pipes. These are the thin and long horizontal pipes which make up a Wind Chime and are seen dangling from the top with strings. The ideal position to hang them is in the North – West corner of the main sitting room. The corner of this direction is representative of the Rakshaka Tatva; the Protective Element in Nature and hence it is most important that this energy circulates freely and unhindered throughout the home or workplace.
If you wish to deflect negative energy and stop it from entering the home and increase your self belief and confidence, then you can use a Wind Chime which has 5 pipes. This Wind Chime should be hung in the Western Direction of the house. The 2 Clappers should be free from both the sides so as enable the unhindered flow of Chi Energy into them.
