Ganesh Riddhi Siddhi Buddhi Mantra
This is a Ganapati Prayog to firmly establish Riddhi, Siddhi and Buddhi in your being. These are the 3 qualities which arise from Ganesha; called the 3 wives of Ganesha. The Prayog is also known as the Sthapana or establishment of these 3 virtues.
Buddhi- Knowledge
Riddhi – Prosperity
Siddhi – Mastery over the Spirit
The Sthapana is done by drawing a Swastika of Wheat Grains on a Red colored piece of cloth placed on a wooden Pooja Platform. Then a flat steel or copper Pooja Plate is placed over the Swastika and the letter गं is drawn on it with Kumkum Paste. Then 7 round Tilaks of Kumkum are drawn around the letter गं; which symbolizes Ganesha.
Then a Laxmi Karak Kavadi is placed on each of the 7 Tilaks. Laxmi Karak Kavadis are shells which symbolize Laxmi and are available in shops selling Pooja items.
After all of the above is completed a Pooja with offerings of Rice Grains, Flowers, Sandalwood Powder, Deep and Dhoop has to be done.
Then the Mantra given here has to be chanted 101 times. Kindly note the entire Sadhana has to be done facing the East.
On completion the red cloth, the Kavadis and all the offerings except the Pooja Platform and Pooja Plate have to be collected and immersed in flowing water.

ReplyDeleteguru ji iss sadhna mein agar koi galti ho jaye , jaisey swastik ulta bana diya aur pooja sampoorn kar li to aagey koi probleum hogi? kripya marg darshan karey dhanyawad
ReplyDeleteThe Sadhana has to be done again if there is a mistake; never get afraid if there are unintentional mistakes.
DeleteIs the Puja done to Ganesha, or the puja plate with the seven laxmi shells?
DeleteDoes the lamp offered require immersion in flowing water as well?
ReplyDeleteThe Lamp does not have to be immersed.
DeleteThank you for your reply, I noticed that when the offerings are listed it says rice grains. Is that rice and grains, or rice grains as in raw rice?
ReplyDeleteIt is raw uncooked rice grains.
Deletewhat is the use of this mantra.
DeleteSir what we have to do of thali after completion of prayog
ReplyDeleteI would just save it for daily puja or keep it clean and stored away if not doing puja, but I am not the source of this information just my opinion
DeleteIs it okay to use a brass plate or bronze plate, instead of steel or copper?
ReplyDeleteSorry for all the questions. I have just one more. The copper plate i own is flat but has the Om symbol indented on it as other sanskrit writing. It is a very common puja plate. Is this adequate?
ReplyDeleteThe Copper plate will do, there is no problem about the Om or any of the Sanskrit writings.
Deletecan one do this ritual again or is it only once allowed? If lets say every vinayaka chaturthi I wanted to do this. Also if one chanted 100 or 102 by accident because of losing count will the results still be favorible?
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteDo you recommend any auspicious occasion or weekday for the performance of this prayog?
Thanking you...
You can commence the Prayog any day. If you want an auspicious day then start it from any Thursday.
DeleteThanks for the answer...
DeleteIs this one time sadhana only one day we have to chant 101 times
