Remedies using Aragvadha [Cassia fistula]

Aragvadha [Cassia fistula] or Amaltash in Hindi is another tree, whose parts are used in traditional Indian remedies to treat certain medical conditions. Some of the more widely used remedies are given here.

Skin diseases including Dermatosis – 50 to 100 Milliliters of Herbal tea made from the pulp of the fruits is consumed.

Constipation– The same treatment as the one given above.

Wounds – The juice of the leaves is applied to the affected part, this cleans and aids in healing the wound.

Scorpion Sting – The pulp of the fruits is consumed along with water.
