This is a popular Bhajan recited in praise of Shri.Ram which is recommended as a prayer or Prarthana.

This prayer is very simple for everyone to recite as it does not involve complicated pronunciations. The only rule is that it should be recited with a pure and clean heart.

 Shri Ram Prarthana
English Translation
Mera Ram sab dukhiyon ka sahara hai l
Jo bhi usko ter bulata, uske paas vo daud ke aata l
Kaha de koi vo nahi aaya yadi sacche dil se pukara hai l
Jo koi pardes me rahata uski bhi vo raksha karta l
Har prani hai usko pyara apna bas yahi nara hai ll

Meaning
My Ram is the refuge of the all those who are suffering l
Whosoever takes his name with devotion, he comes running to him l
Can anyone say that he has not come when called with a pure heart l
He also protects those who live in far away lands l
My only slogan is that every animal is dear to him ll

मेरा राम सब दुखियों का सहारा है l
जो भी उसको टेर बुलाता, उसके पास वो दौड़ के आता l
कह दे कोई वो नहीं आया यदि सच्चे दिल से पुकारा है l
जो कोई परदेस में रहता उसकी भी वो रक्षा करता l
हर प्राणी है उसको प्यारा अपना बस यही नारा है ll
