Garud Aarti - English - Marathi

In the Hindu religion the Garud [गरुड] or Garuda [गरुडा] is the Vahan or the carrier of Vishnu, the Protector. Garud in Hindi means Eagle. The Garuda is an important figure in the Hindu religion, and two of the ancient Hindu religious scriptures the Garuda Purana and the Garudopanishad are totally devoted to him. He also finds reference in the Vedas and the Bhagavad-Gita.

Worship of Garuda is said to protect one from snakes and their poison. This is an Aarti in the Marathi language with the English translation dedicated to Garuda.
