Saraswati Aarti - English - Marathi

This is an Aarti in the Marathi Language with English translation which is sung in praise of the Hindu Goddess of Learning, Arts and Knowledge Saraswati.

Saraswati is always portrayed as wearing white clothes which symbolizes purity and divine knowledge. She is shown ridding a Swan, which again symbolizes purity, and inner beauty.

It is often said that money and knowledge don’t go together. The deeper significance of this is that the seekers of divine knowledge don’t give much importance to worldly wealth. Like wise those seeking only wealth and nothing else are not sufficiently evolved mentally to seek divine knowledge.
