This Aarti is dedicated towards Shri Ram, the seventh Avatar of Vishnu. Shri Ram is considered to be in Hinduism as the complete and perfect man or the Maryada Purushottama.

He is an example of virtue and bravery. This Aarti is the work of the great saint and devotee of Shri Ram, Gosvami Tulsidas.

Shrí Rámchandra kripálu bhaju man,haran bhav bhay dárunam l
nav kanj lochan kanj much, kar kanj pad kanjárunam ll
Kandarp aganit amit chhavi,navníl níraj sundaram l
pat pít mánhuntdit ruchi shuchi,naumi janak sutávaram ll
Bhaju dínbandhu dinesh dánav,daitya-vansh nikandanam l
Raghunand ánand kand kaushal,chand Dashrath nandanam ll
Sir mukut kundal tilak cháru l udár ang vibhúshanam l
ájánubhuj shar-cháp ghar,sangrám-jit khardúshanam ll
Iti badati Tulsídás Shankar,Shesh muniman ranjanam l
mam hriday kanj nivás kuru,kámádi khal dal ganjanam ll

श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भजु मन, हरण भव भय दारुणम् ।
नव कंज लोचन कंज मुख, कर कंज पद कंजारुणम् ।।
कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि, नवनील नीरज सुन्दरम् ।
पट पीत मानहुंतडित रुचि शुचि, नौमि जनक सुतावरम् ।।
भजु दीनबन्धु दिनेश दानव, दैत्य-वंश निकन्दनम् ।
रघुनन्द आनन्द कन्द कौशल, चन्द दशरथ नन्दनम् ।।
सिर मुकुट कुण्डल तिलक चारू, उदार अंग विभूषणम् ।
आजानुभुज शर-चाप धर, संग्राम-जित खरदूषणम् ।।
इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर, शोष मुनिमन रंजनम् ।
मम ह्रदय कंज निवास कुरु, कामादि खल दल गंजनम् ।।
