This an Aarti in praise of Krishna,the eighth Avatar of Vishnu and Radha his beloved. Here Radha is to be seen as the female Shakti and Krishna as the Male Shakti of God. Thus the worshipper is worshipping totality which is seen as God or Vishnu.

This Aarti is important in Shaktism where the female power is seen as the supreme God.
