GANAPATI MANTRAS

Ganapati also known as Ganesha, Vighneshvarta or Vighnaharta is easily one of the most popular Hindu Gods no prayer, siddhi or mantra will ever bear fruit if one does not pray to Ganapati first, Ganesha stands for the absolute the all enclosing universal energy or the Para Brahma hence he is also known as the God of all beginnings which in simple terms means the one from which everything began.

Various definitions and qualities are have been attributed to Ganapati which according to me are mearly symbolic in nature and those listed are but a fraction of the limitless qualities of the universal energy of Ganapati. Ganapati in simple terms means the unfragmented sum total of all the energies in existence hence it is rightly said that no puja of any kind whatsoever will ever succeed if one does not first pray to the absolute which is Ganesha.

Ganapati can be prayed or meditated on at any time of the day or night on rules or methods ever apply when one thinks of the absolute Ganesha he is beyond methods, you have to remember always to pray first to Ganesha and then pray for whatever you are praying for.

Here I am listing below some of the various Ganesh mantras

  4. dear sir, what if during the sankalp period of any mantra sadhna, or for mantras that have to be chanted for a specified period of time, one has to go on a journey or has some important work and can't do the mantra jaap for one or more days? what should the person do then?

    1. Sankalp means a commitment to do the Mantra Sadhana for a specific period or in a specific manner. It has to be done only once, so the question does not arise.
If you have to take a journey or it is impossible to continue the Sadhana, there is absolutely no harm in taking a break and continuing from where you stopped after the journey.
